This was played at our wedding. Whenever it comes on, I can’t help smiling.
We watch the season pull up its own stakes
And catch the last weekend of the last week
Before the gold and the glimmer have been replaced,
Another sun soaked season fades away
You have stolen my heart
Invitation only, grand farewells
Crash the best one, of the best ones
Clear liquor and cloudy eyed, too early to say goodnight
You have stolen my heart
And from the ballroom floor we are in celebration
One good stretch before our hibernation
Our dreams assured and we all, will sleep well
You have stolen
You have stolen my heart
I watch you spin around in your highest heels
You are the best one, of the best ones
We all look like we feel
You have stolen my
You have stolen my heart

We finally got our act together and got the last of people’s photos of our wedding together. There’s not many, but we picked our favourite for anyone who cares to take a look at.

It’s good being married. We went on a date to Pizza Express and it was ace! Like the old times, except we never really used to go out to dinner.

There’s some wedding cake left. I don’t like fruitcake, but I to like icing and marzipan. Charlotte won’t eat the cake so I can have the good bit. Wife-school 101!

Speaking of our awesome families, my aunt is now apparently an expert flower arranger. This was a surprise on two parts; 1. My aunt has another thing she is great at; 2. Charlotte chose white roses instead of lilies. You can just never know some people.
In other news, working from home/for yourself is awesome! I’ve just been database designing and coding all day! Two simultaneous honeymoon periods. I’m pretty lucky.
