We spent the holiday period at Charlotte’s parents’ house. Took Sudo and Amelie with us. After 5 days of playing and stressing, respectively, they were glad for a rest once we got home.

Sudo wanted to play with these flowers so very much.

I’m not really a huge fan of fake filters and silly borders. If your photo isn’t nice to look at, a filter is only going to do so much. A border is going to make it worse. I don’t care for borders.

Yet, for some reason, I have become enamoured with Instagram this week. I feel encouraged to take a nice shot with a filter in mind, and you don’t have to use borders. Sharing and exploring are incredibly easy. The whole experience is just fun.

I don’t take back all I’ve ever said about Instagram – most of the photos I see come out of it are horrible, but there are some people on there producing amazing photographs, which I really enjoy looking at. Definitely a keeper for snappy iPhone photos, I think.
