I’ve been trying to broaden my horizons the last couple of days. I never take photos of moving things and, seeing as I know a thing that never stops moving, I’ve got the perfect subject for it!

Blurry mess, but I like all of these. The last one isn’t Sudo, it’s Charlotte.

Sudo has recently been really coming out of his shell with other dogs. He’s friends with this pretty intimidating (but big, soft) Staffy, which is great for us. Until recently, he’s been really subservient around new dogs, but now he’s chilling out and having fun running around with this Spinone puppy (who’s awesome, by the way. I swear, Spinones are what AT-ATs were modelled on).

Incoming semi-rant that’s actually directly about my life. I don’t do this often. I don’t think I do, anyway.

In a simultaneously related and unrelated train of thought. The neighbour who looks after this puppy (neighbour B) and my next door neighbour (neighbour A) don’t get on. Hate each other. In the interest of an easy life, I’m ok with people unless they give me reason to be otherwise, but A saw me talking to B today and went off on one about how awful B is, like all the shit that’s gone on between them is supposed to affect how I feel about people. Some people are super weird.

Flashes are brilliant. The flash on the iPhone4 is not – it’s yellow and uneven. It’s a lemon. Camera+ goes some of the way to correcting the urine-filter, but the way forward is natural light (case in point, this black and white photo. Oh well)

Met a cute new puppy at the park this morning.

It is absolutely necessary to apply Camera+ effects to every photo taken on the iPhone. Otherwise, what’s the point?

I have to leave him in his crate on his own. I haven’t felt this bad in so long, even though I know it’s for his own good.

Sudo has a girlfriend. She’s really helping him with his confidence with other dogs, which is quite comforting. He’s still very subservient with other dogs (including her – he spends most of his time getting bowled over!) but he plays a lot and seems to enjoy it and that’s all I care about.

Action shots are not my forté so these aren’t great, but you can tell how much fun they have.
