Since Andy told me that overcast light is the best light to shoot in, it made me do two things. Firstly, it made me glad to live in England – world leaders on overcast weather. Secondly, it made me go out and photograph anything and everything whenever the sky is grey. It’s such amazing, even light.
More green things again, though, sorry.

Remember that scene in Hot Shots! Part Deux at the start where Charlie Sheen is going to bare-knuckle fight that guy in some warehouse or wherever? And before they start fighting they dip their hands in sweets? That’s what my lunch today reminded me of.

It’s important to bear in mind that sometimes I just like wandering round taking photos of whatever. With the 50mm 1.8 on the D700 is a lovely, light (it is, shut up) camera. These hopefully won’t be the best photos I take all week, but they’ll be amongst the most fun I had holding a camera, for sure.
Also, fuck you I know my lawn is a mess. I hate gardening.
Every day, he sleeps using my effects pedals as a pillow. It doesn’t look comfortable.

Charlotte makes the best pizza.

They’ve been through it, these strawberries. In a pot since destroyed by excited puppy, the strawberries made the treacherous move to hanging basket only to defy all the odds and grow into the most delicious strawberries Charlotte has ever eaten. Apparently. Personally, I think strawberries are crap, but there y’go.

After much work on the garden and an order of furniture, we’re finally getting to a stage that we can just sit and relax out there. Sudo’s really enjoying it as well – he can wee whenever he feels like it!
