I never thought this peace lily was going to flower. We’ve had trouble with them since we moved down here; they just stopped flowering.
Constructive use of my week off; video games, iPhone programming and sleeping off headaches!
The house we wanted to look at has been sold. Would’ve been a fun project to fix up, that one. As if I have any free time!
Just because the people who taught you lessons when you were younger couldn’t stick to them and are total hypocrites and sellouts, doesn’t mean that they aren’t still valuable lessons to learn.
That’s not to say that I’m not grateful for everything I’ve been given by everyone in my life, but some people make it really difficult for me to maintain respect for them.
I don’t mean homonym, but its definition is as close as I can get with my current lexicon!
My mother-in-law is in a competition at school where they have to create a small craft-type thing, with which you can associate the word “egg”, or replace a syllable with the word “egg” (“eggsellent”, “eggsistentialism” for eggsample (I’ll stop now, sorry)). So, she’s made this humanoid thing with yellow (blonde) hair and half egg shell boobs and a skirt made from clothes pegs. I couldn’t guess it at all! The word you’re looking for is “Peggy”. The closest I got was “eggsibitionist”. 10-year-olds are stupid.
This photo has nothing to do with that, in case you’re wondering. I’m just relaying an anecdote.
Another busy day today, so a relatively unimaginative abstract of a chive flower. I think what I need to start doing is really planning my day, thinking what sort of shot I want to go for, then try to fulfil that shot for the day. If you’re passing and you have anything you use for subject inspiration that you can offer, I’d be very grateful as the only thing I’ve come across is the A-Z of Inspiration thread on the Talk Photography forums.
