I normally don’t care for greetings card occasions like birthdays and Christmas, but Charlotte gets so excited about it, I’m kinda strong-armed into having a blast. Went out for a super long walk around some more unexplored Southampton and topped it off with the purchase of a new (old) bike, which I’m super excited to collect.

Was expecting to have to work today. Didn’t, so sat playing video games and watching crappy TV and eating that awesome cake. Dog and cat were equally chilled. Pushed the ISO up again, and still really pleased with how this turns out. Plus I need to start taking more regular photos again really.

The weather has been awesome recently. I love going outside, I do. Spent some time in Stratford and at my mum’s nursery. I’ve not seen some of my family for far too long. Like pre-piercings and tattoos long. Ridiculous.

I’ve started obsessively turning lights off. If I’m not in a room, the light has to be off. Charlotte is very anti-dark (light?). She leaves every light on ever. As a compromise, she’s taken to wearing a head-torch everywhere when it’s dark outside. It’s pretty adorable.

(Also, Camera+ has this new pack of analogue-looking filter effects. They’ve basically rendered Hipstamatic and Instagram obsolete (though I’ve never seen worth in Instagram). Good for them, huh?)

I’ve been trying to broaden my horizons the last couple of days. I never take photos of moving things and, seeing as I know a thing that never stops moving, I’ve got the perfect subject for it!

Blurry mess, but I like all of these. The last one isn’t Sudo, it’s Charlotte.
