I feel like less of a tool wandering round taking photos when I’m with someone who’s also brandishing a camera. Had a cool afternoon wandering round the countryside with Paul – the company was better than the scenery!
Boring though the landscape was, there were highland cattle and a cool-looking 12th-century church with a very friendly woman inside. Got me thinking and talking about campanology – something I’ve not though/spoken about for absolutely ages. I’ve developed a relatively morbid curiosity about whether I could still do it, but I doubt anything will come of it.
There are snails everywhere today. Some of them have these cool, tiger-like markings on them. Odd as it may seem, just watching them for a while is actually really interesting.
Bones is a cat. He’s a naughty boy cat. He likes to sleep on keyboards. I think he has the cat version of narcolepsy. He falls asleep mid-playfight. It’s pretty funny.
I don’t know what’s brought on this fascination. I think pigeons get a bad rep because they carry disease, crap on people and are generally everywhere. In that respect, they draw a lot of comparisons with celebrities, only pigeons don’t bother me whilst I’m watching TV.
When we stayed at the De Vere Grande, we got free tickets to Marwell Zoo. To test my lovely new lens, we decided to use those tickets today and it was awesome. Cold, but awesome. …
