We spent the holiday period at Charlotte’s parents’ house. Took Sudo and Amelie with us. After 5 days of playing and stressing, respectively, they were glad for a rest once we got home.

What I love about Jake’s taste in clothing and accessories is that he buys what he likes. He doesn’t think “hmm, this goes with things I own” or “these socks are totally different colours”; he just buys things and hopes for the best. For this reason, he is the best colour-blocker I know. It also makes this turquoise watch/t-shirt combination that much more impressive.

Even Amelie is impressed.

Been a bit camera-less since I got my bike. Not even sure why. Tiredness?

Like a twat, I fell from my bike. It was like in the movies where time slows down and you get to watch everything that happens. Considering it’s been about 3 years since I fell from a bike (I think it’s important to be good at falling from bikes!), I thought I handled it pretty well. Bike was about 4 feet away from me, and all I have are some scrapes and bruises. Not bad for hitting a kerb at about 15mph.

Sudo takes up Arts and Crafts

I’ve known for a long time that Sudo was creative. Today, he had a brilliant idea; he was going to make a pillow. He doesn’t let his lack of thumbs get in his way – that’s one of my favourite things about him.

Could I use this as a pillow?

I think I could, but I've got to be super smooth and subtle.

Yep, I’m one of those people who pretends to be their pets’ parent. I’m also one of those people who narrates their animals’ lives whilst self-referencing in the third person. We’ve all seen the “Look Who’s Talking” movies. I was brainwashed, man.

Just one of those days where work is totally uninspiring. I’ve been on a bug-fixing spree for the last three weeks, and it’s finally beginning to crush my spirit. That being said, it’s nearly over and fun new projects are just round the corner. I suppose if I was a little better, I wouldn’t have to spend so long fixing bugs. And if I wasn’t so rushed to finish everything, I would be a little better. The magical circle (triangle?) of code.

Thought I’d treat myself to an early finish, then I saw the time and realised I was actually treating myself to a normal-time finish. Wandered round the house and snapped a few of my favourite details. Catdog ended up getting in the way of the first one, but it turned out OK, I suppose.

Weekend Off

Was expecting to have to work today. Didn’t, so sat playing video games and watching crappy TV and eating that awesome cake. Dog and cat were equally chilled. Pushed the ISO up again, and still really pleased with how this turns out. Plus I need to start taking more regular photos again really.
