Today, I discovered that I would heartily welcome a camera with better ISO-handling. I’m starting to think about switching up my shopping list order from 14-24, D700 to D700, 14-24. First, I need to buy a house.
Today, she also spent some time trying to get comfy enough to sleep on mortgage paperwork.

I took a few potentially really nice photos around the hospital, but the noise totally ruined what I was going for. This was the only one with enough ambient light to drown it out.

I feel like less of a tool wandering round taking photos when I’m with someone who’s also brandishing a camera. Had a cool afternoon wandering round the countryside with Paul – the company was better than the scenery!

Boring though the landscape was, there were highland cattle and a cool-looking 12th-century church with a very friendly woman inside. Got me thinking and talking about campanology – something I’ve not though/spoken about for absolutely ages. I’ve developed a relatively morbid curiosity about whether I could still do it, but I doubt anything will come of it.

Immensely horrible bank holiday weekend. I went out on Monday and came back to find my little rabbit had died. Pretty much the same as with Teagan, no idea why, but she looked nice and peaceful so hopefully it was quick and painless.
Pets, they break your heart, huh?
