So, I wanted to take a nice self portrait for the last day of the year. Unfortunately, it’s so hot that I’m sweaty and red and that idea went out the window!
This project has been so fun (although there have been momentary lapses in concentration and inspiration) but I really feel like the quality of my images has improved overall. I definitely prefer the photos I’m taking now, and I’m enjoying it way more too. Almost certainly going to just carry it on anyway.
Being slightly preoccupied with the fact that there was a smudge on my sensor, I didn’t get anything really worth showing. Ah well, these things are sent to test us.
I managed to position the flash so it cast a shadow through this droplet. No idea how, probably couldn’t do it again, but am really pleased with how it came out. I wish the grass filled the frame, but you can’t have everything.
On a semi-related note, I’m having trouble thinking of something to take a photo of for 365. I can’t decide whether it has to be monumental or not.
I will almost definitely write more words here later. Not feeling it right now. Not to put too fine a point on it; ASIWYFA are awesome, and the rest pale into insignificance. I had to stop taking photos in the first song because I thought they were going to trash my camera!
I’m aware that this is a failure of a photo, but it’s not about the composition; it’s about the type. I’m not usually a fan of 100% caps as I find them hard to read, but as a block this is so pretty!
I have no idea what posessed me, but these are the most monumentally awesome jeans in the whole world (no exaggeration!). I don’t think I ever owned any clothing that fit as well as these jeans. I am automatically cooler for owning and wearing them.
