333: bike stands
Something about this is pretty mesmerising to me.
Southampton isn’t as big as it used to seem.
More from today, and other walks/rides on my flickr.

So, the shitty thing about having a day off (especially when you’re the only developer somewhere) is that some lovely person hasn’t miraculously done all your work for you when you get back.
Still, you can only complain so much when your desk is like 20ft from your bed and you work on interesting stuff that pushes you. BOOYAH!
Only went out to buy junk food today. ALDI redeemed itself from the absolute sham that it was last time we were there.
I finished the first game I’ve made my whole way through since Sonic 3 today. Killzone 2 on normal is done and dusted. Thoroughly engrossing game (if a little short – but I’d rather it were too short than too long). Might try to get back into Far Cry 2 now. I think SF4 is a lost cause (even if it’s still awesome fun when there’s a bunch of people involved!)
(Man, my PS3 is dusty!)
I wanted to try and tell the story of my week-day in photos, but it didn’t really happen. I got to midday then didn’t want to just sit taking pictures of my laptop, then the TV later. Nothing like trying to take photos of everything to remind you that you don’t go skydiving with movie stars on a daily basis!
Strike that: I reckon we can make some sense of this.
I have peanut butter on some form of crispy bread. Usually toast.
I always wanted to take this photo.
Dunno why, but I love this doorway. I think I’ve taken a picture of it before.
Amelie basically spends all day making weird noises, trying to get my attention.
I have this weird condition where I have to have eggs at lunch. It’s called “Really Liking Eggs”.
All the windows. OSX makes this so easy!
I also have this thing where I have to have pizza on a regular basis. You guessed it; “Really Liking Pizza”.
Even relaxing (in my incredibly sexy socks) involves my computer. Sad?
And to conclude yesterday’s live-blogging event (hey, it was an event, shut up):
The finished pizza never lasts long.
Grapefruits (and anything with a lot of red in) taunt my camera’s white balance presets. I finally managed to get something with discernible levels in after wrestling with the K setting. Still managed to over-white and contrastify it, though.
